Jerry has been married 37 years, and he has a son, a daughter, and two granddaughters. He worked various jobs, such as house painting, truck driving, and welding until he started college at 32. While in college he won some creative writing contests that resulted in getting a couple of poems published. He has also had several articles published.

Jerry has an MA in English, along with a Bachelors in Education with 7-12 English certification and two minors with teaching certificates in Theater/Speech and Journalism.

A clean blanket

covers the ground,

erases the past.

White purity piles

itself upon more of the same.

Time pauses,

allows temporary hibernation.
