Biography:

Douglas Kiburz
Doane College undergraduate (the little Harvard on the big blue)
University of Nebraska Medical School
University of Kansas for Orthopaedic Surgery Residency
University of Virginia-fellowship training
Practiced Orthopaedics in Sedalia for 26 years, part time artist (Cave Folk Creations-making copper trees out of welding cable), part time antique high wheel bicyclist, part time manure farmer-horses, donkeys and longhorns and part time cowboy poet.

I am often advised to keep my day job, I appreciate the support of my beautiful wife Connie.

Dear Sir, I write this note to you to tell you of my plight
For at the time of writing I am not a pretty sight
My body is all black and blue, my face a deathly grey
I write this not to say why Paddy is not at work today
Whilst working on the fourteenth floor some bricks I had to clear

There was no telling Ringo that this would be his last ride,
We knew the day was coming, but there were tears we could not hide.

His quality of life had sunk extremely low
But even in his prime, he was no best in show.
